MASPware GuardMobile is a security- and controlsystem for Windows Mobile devices. Its a silent, hidden program, which (e.g. after a thievery) executes commands remotely initiated by the Windows Mobile owner.

- You can initiate an alarm and lock the Windows Mobile
- You can locate your Windows Mobile (GPS receiver is required)
- If your stolen Windows Mobile contains top secret data, you can do a hardreset remotely to erase all data! (Use carfully!)
- You can initiate a callback to overhear the thief
How does GuardMobile work?
The Windows Mobile owner installs and configures GuardMobile. He sets an arbitrary Windows Mobile PIN and adds cellular numbers, which can control this Windows Mobile, to totally prevent abuse. After activation, the program stays "silently" in background until its asked to do some action.
Since every Windows Mobile supports SMS nowadays, the whole communication is done via SMS, which means you can control your Windows Mobile using any other cellular Windows Mobile (no Windows Mobile required!). No internet access is necessary. The Windows Mobile replies all actions with a confirmation SMS.

when i first purchased my new samsung omnia i bought this. nearing the end of the school year my phone was stolen right off my desk. i iniatiated the GPS and waited for a location where i could get it. one day i checked and the phone was at the wal-mart one mile from my house i went in got a security guard and saw a guy from my 3rd period class where it was stolen i showed him the location was right here and what you know the officer found it in his right pocket, got my phone back and now he has 50 hours community service i highly reccomend this program.
